Hi, I’m Sarah - the face behind S.P Tutoring & Childcare.

I’m a primary school teacher with 10 years’ experience, working with children from EYFS to upper Key Stage 2. I am passionate about helping children feel happy, confident and valued.

I build strong relationships through trust, patience and humour, taking time to understand and celebrate each child as the individual they are.

Whether we’re tackling tricky maths, exploring creative learning or spending time together in childcare, my approach is warm, playful and nurturing - with the professionalism and reassurance that comes from years in education.

Where do you offer your services?

Face-to-face tutoring and childcare are available in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.

Online tutoring is also available to children across the UK and internationally, subject to time-zone compatibility and availability, allowing children to access personalised support wherever in the world they may be.

What ages do you work with?

My teaching experience spans EYFS through to upper Key Stage 2. Tutoring is tailored to the individual child and their learning needs.

For childcare, I welcome children from 6 months to 16 years, adapting my care to suit their age, personality, routines and individual needs. For babies and younger children, we can discuss feeding, sleep and care routines during your free Meet & Greet.

Do you offer group tutoring?

Yes. Alongside 1:1 tutoring, I offer small-group sessions for siblings, friends and children working towards similar learning goals.

I also welcome enquiries from home-educating families and Home Education groups looking for engaging, teacher-led learning sessions. These can be tailored around a particular subject, topic or area of learning, with an emphasis on practical, creative and enjoyable learning experiences. 

What qualifications and training do you have?

I hold a Bacherlor's Degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have 10 years' experience working in primary education, from EYFS through to upper Key Stage 2.
